Brief Course Description
CEU course is a review of activated sludge wastewater treatment methods and related subjects. This course is general in nature and is not state specific, but contains different wastewater treatment methods, clarification, and correction methods.
This CEU course will cover the conventional wastewater treatment process, related components, chemicals and processes. The course will cover the wastewater primary and secondary clarification process including oxidation ditches and activated sludge processes (RAS, WAS). We will examine the requirements for wastewater water quality criteria including nitrogen and phosphorus removal and advanced wastewater treatment methods and related process goals. This course will closely examine related wastewater bacteria and related microorganisms. The student will also be required to identify common wastewater compliance monitoring and wastewater sampling techniques. |
